My mission is to empower Veterans through education, advocacy, and clear guidance within the VA health care system.
As a Veteran of OIF and OEF, I understand the system from both sides — as someone who served and as someone who relies on VA care. I am committed to helping Veterans turn confusion into clarity and frustration into confidence, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and respected throughout their health care journey.
Every Veteran deserves timely care, clear communication, and an advocate who understands their service and their struggles. My mission is to help Veterans navigate the system with confidence, so they can focus on their health, their families, and their future.
About
My journey didn’t end when my deployment did.
I am a United States military Veteran who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Like many Veterans, returning home marked the beginning of a new challenge — navigating the VA health care system as a disabled Veteran.
Through my own experiences, I came to understand how complex and overwhelming the system can be. Appointments, referrals, benefits, and follow-up care are often difficult to navigate, especially when you’re already dealing with health concerns. I’ve experienced firsthand how frustrating it can be to search for answers while simply trying to get the care you earned.
Those experiences shaped my purpose. I became a Veteran health advocate so that no Veteran has to face the VA system alone or feel unsure about their next step. This work is not just professional for me — it is personal, and it is a continuation of my service to fellow Veterans.
